Following the ALTC Fellowship, The first Australasian Conference of Undergraduate research was established by Angela Brew and Lilia Mantai as part of Macquarie University’s Learning and Teaching Week. The conference demonstrated a large unmet demand for opportunities for undergraduates to present the research that they do in special research experience programs and within the broader curriculum.
